Hosts such as Tom Mullen and Henk & Lucia Barnhoorn are friendly and experienced. They know the ships inside and out, recommend interesting places to visit ashore and accompany the group on select shore excursions. They’re known and respected by the ship staff, which gives our guests a feeling of security and exclusivity. It also means we might just get a little extra special treatment!

Traveling solo this time around? Don’t worry, with our hosts, you’ll never feel alone or even at a loss for what to do next. They’re experienced world travelers who can help guide you at any port, answer questions and simply provide peace of mind that you aren’t alone at all.
3. Exclusive Shore Excursions
Many of our clients say what they enjoy most about our hosted voyages are the group shore excursions. Join your fellow Cruise Specialists guests on a guided tour with our knowledgeable hosts accompanying you. On the World Cruise, we also create a shore excursion program including overland tours, or “trips within a trip” that you can consider.
4. Cruise Specialists Celebrations
You’ll already feel like part of a select group thanks to the warmth of our hosts, but add in the complimentary Bon Voyage Sail Away party, a Captain’s Welcome Reception, themed dinners (from a Luau BBQ to a Chinese New Year Celebration) and so many other events just for our group, you’ll absolutely feel like the red carpet has been rolled out!
