The seas will have a new mermaid in April 2016, thanks to the launch of Sirena by Oceania Cruises.
Sirena (which means mermaid) will be the result of a $40 million renovation to the former Princess ship.
In addition to growing their fleet in 2016 to 6 luxury mid-size ships, Oceania will:
- Sail 90 new itineraries
- Have 50 extended voyages
- Add 20 new ports to their sailings
- Offer a new 40 day sailing for re-positioning
“With the addition of Sirena to the Oceania Cruises fleet we can expand the realm of possibilities and stretch our imagination when it comes to itinerary planning, providing our guests even more options,” said Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer for Oceania Cruises.
