Our wonderful cruise host Tom Mullen has been keeping us up to date on the fun of the Tales of the South Pacific cruise with quick postcards along the way. To say we’re all jealous of the views and the fun is an understatement!!
Don’t miss out on the 2016 sailing.
“Had a wonderful sail in the islands! Looks more on the mountainous side, still a sunny day!
American Samoa
“It’s wonderful to be here again. There has been little change since I was last here in the late 1980’s.”
Fiji Islands
“From our Cruise Specialists tour to a Fijian Village. The kava ceremony, plus history of the coconut and palms.”
While in Bora Bora I took off on a Jet Boat for 10 people, not knowing there is a big difference between a rigger, a speed boat and a jet boat!
After the jet boat rider sounded the shell horn three times we went at warp speed around the island with a few stops to catch your breathe and sanity (no life jacket!!). I clung to the jet boat for two hours, like a cat hanging on a top curtain rail, it’s not for the calm people, but for ex navy seals I would definitely suggest it.
The tour the next day was a bit less frantic, though it still involved swimming with the non-man eating sharks!
